In 2017, it was announced that Nickelodeon show The Loud House would get a theatrical movie, it was supposed have a mix of 2-D and traditional animation. It was scheduled to be released on February 7, 2020.
Plot[]
According to Chris Savino, the majority of the movie would have taken place at the titular setting in Royal Woods. There would also have been a scene when the Louds' home got demolished (similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Wrecking Ball's plot). Aside from that, majority of the plot remains a mystery.
The only noticeable thing about this movie is that it would be separate from the series, meaning that any events from the movie would not be canon to the show.

Why It Was Cancelled[]
- Chris Savino was fired from Nickelodeon after sexual harassment allegations were made against him on October 19, 2017 during the MeToo and Time's Up movement and following the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal.
- It is possible that the movie was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

- It was removed from schedule by Paramount on January 18, 2019.
- The original version of The Loud House Movie was cancelled.
- On August 20, 2021, Netflix released The Loud House Movie, but it is currently unknown if it had any connection to the cancelled project or not. In addition, the Netflix film's plot would have the Louds travelling to Scotland. Another Loud House movie, titled No Time to Spy was released on Paramount+ in June 2024.
- Nickelodeon Movies announced Paw Patrol: The Movie, which was released on the same day as the Netflix film.
