Following the release of the 1992 film The Bodyguard, Kevin Costner contacted his longtime friend Princess Diana to star in a sequel, with Costner reprising his role as the titular bodyguard Frank Farmer. Diana agreed to star in the sequel and the first draft arrived the day before her death. Following her passing, the sequel was cancelled.


According to Costner, the plot would have involved Frank Farmer protecting Princess Diana’s character from stalkers and paparazzi before their relationship turned romantic. Rest of the plot remains unknown.
