Why They Were Cancelled[]
- Terminator: Dark Fate bombed at the box office (save for a few international markets) and suffered from a massive backlash from fans due to the infamous opening scene of John Connor getting shot and the sexism featured in the film.
- The Hollywood Reporter stated that there were no plans for future Terminator films (considering how hard it would top the first sequel of the series).
- In February 2020, Linda Hamilton said she would be happy not to play Sarah Connor anymore after Dark Fate.[1]
