Cancelled Movies. Wiki

As early as 1996, The Japanese Sonic the Hedgehog inspired show Sonic OVA was planned to actually be a 2-hour movie rather than a two-part show combined in one with it's two episodes "Welcome to Eggmanland" and "Sonic vs. Metal Sonic". There were also more planned episodes for the show rather than two.

The plot would be the same like the two-episodes for the combined film, but with multiple more parts.

Why It Was Cancelled[]

  1. Unfortunately, the reviews from Japanese people were not that good, so it didn't solo enough to warn more parts made.
  2. General Entertainment were busy with other projects.

  • The movie version of Sonic OVA was permanently cancelled.
