Cancelled Movies. Wiki

In late 2016, it was announced by news website The Hollywood Reporter that the classic 1986 musical/ horror film Little Shop of Horrors was cooking up a remake treatment, and the remake is confirmed to be starting development at it's very finest at the time (the film was also originally postponed on May 2021.) and was said to be distributed by Warner Bros Pictures. Greg Berlanti was attached to direct, Matthew Robinson would of been supervising and writing the script, David Geffen as one of the co-producers, and Marc Platt and Niija Kuykendall would have been at helm of producers.[1]

The plot would be the same as the original classic film; but with notable differences.

Why It Was Cancelled[]

  1. The movie was shelved sometime during the lesser-surge of the contagious COVID-19 pandemic reportedly on September 2022-- the reasons on how the wiki was assuredly canceled is unknown and statements were quite bare-boned, however it was thoroughly described as that the cast was scrambling to find the good times to fetch the film in correct places to shoot in certain scenarios. Taron Egerton himself even told news website The Sun soon enough to the movie being shelved "I just don't get it. There was so much goodwill around it but it just fizzled out. Who knows if it will come back, but I can't help but feel that it just might not."

  • The remake for Little Shop of Horrors was permanently cancelled.
