Cancelled Movies. Wiki

Note: Please do not add "Hanazuki: Full Of Treasures" ended in May 2019" because this was before that happened! Also, do not mention the fact that Coleen O'Shaughnessy is currently busy voicing Tails for the upcoming Sonic films, as this was also before that happened!

Sometime in 2018, an animated film adaptation based on Hanazuki: Full of Treasures was said to be in development by Paramount Pictures.

The plot still isn't revealed, however, it could possibly follow Hanazuki and the Hemkas going on an adventure in a whole new dimension in the real world on a unforgettable journey to find themselves in Boston.

Why It Was Cancelled[]

  1. Contributing factors - such as Hasbro laying off 10% of its employees following the Toys R Us Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
  2. Their acquisitions - problems with acquires of the Saban Brands and Entertainment. One assets and the cut-down of Hanazuki's second season with only eight episodes.

  • The Hanazuki film was permanently cancelled due to the Toys R Us Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
  • Hanazuki: Full of Treasures remains just as a 2017 Hasbro web series, with no animation movie counterparts at all. Because of this, the series was causing Toys R Us to go out of business and close down permanently after the Season 1 finale "Big Bad Sickness".
  • In 2022, the film was revived as Hanazuki and Friends: Out of this World made by Hanazukiiscool2017.
