Why It Was Cancelled[]
- Transformers: The Last Knight flopped at the box office and panned by critics, fans and audiences alike. Michael Bay got fired by Paramount Pictures, and his universe was scrapped sadly.

- Transformers 6 was permanently cancelled.
- The 2018 film Bumblebee was originally going be the last film in the Michael Bay series, but it was soon changed to a reboot of the franchise, meaning that Bumblebee and the future installments of the live-action continuity, are going to be in a universe, separate from Michael Bay's movies.
- Hasbro now no longer wants Michael Bay to direct the upcoming films, though he does work on them as a producer.
- The original Transformers film series ended up having only five films.
- The next live-action Transformers movie was released in the Summer of 2023, called Transformers: The Rise of the Beasts, a sequel to Bumblebee.
- Hasbro is planning make a new cinematic universe that started with Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts, even rumours said that there's is gonna be a G.I Joe/Transformers crossover, on the same universe of Bumblebee movie and Snake Eyes.
- In the mid of 2020, a small studio called H&F Production and Mankiolas Studios are doing to make a version for fans but is not associated with Paramount or Hasbro.
- Transformers One, a Transformers animated film, was released on September 20, 2024.
