According to animator Alexander Williams, Warner Bros. Feature Animation had plans to do an animated anthology film called The Zoo about the days, lives and shenanigans of the animals living in the same zoo. However it was canceled after Quest for Camelot didn't do to well with the box-office.
Why was it Cancelled?[]
- Quest for Camelot was a critical and financial flop. It, alongside The Iron Giant being box-office bombs were the main reason for Warner Bros. eventually shutting down its feature film animation department until The Lego Movie.
Result[]
- The Zoo was never made.
- The idea of animals living in the zoo would later be used for both DreamWorks' Madagascar and Disney's The Wild.
