The Tub People was a film set to be produced by Universal Feature Animation. Based on the 1989 children's book of the same name by Pam Conrad, the film was originally set to be released in 2001.
During an unseen child's bath time, the seven members of a wooden toy family ride on the floating soap and compete in swimming races. But after the near loss of the Tub Child down the drain, they are all reunited on a warm bed, where they mountain climb on the ridges formed by soft quilts.
Why It Was Cancelled
- There were problems with the film's script.
- Universal Animation Studios was busy working on other projects.
- The film was permanently cancelled.
