The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild (Blue Sky Studios Version)

Before Blue Sky Studios was shut down by The Walt Disney Corporation,They animated a series titled Ice Age: The Adventures Of Buck Wild.

Plot

The film focuses on the prankster Possum brothers, Crash and Eddie, as they fall into The Lost World, reuniting with their idol, Buck Wild.

Meanwhile, Manny,Ellie,Sid and Diego (potentially joined by Shira and Brooke) are on a rescue mission to bring the two of them home. Potentially because a volcano is on the verge of eruption, which might threaten to destroy the lost world.

Known Differences

1. Crash and Eddie nearly fall into the mouth of a male tyrannosaurus instead of an ankylosaurus like in the final film.
2. The color of the pteranadon Buck rides is purple, not green.
3. The animation is done by Blue Sky Studios.
4. All the actors from the previous films would return.
5. A tie-in illustration seems to hint that an erupting volcano would play a large role in the film. It would be the main antagonist of the movie, rather than Orson.
6. Scrat was going to return.

Why This Version was Cancelled

1. Blue Sky Studios was shut down by Disney, Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. So it was closed in April 2021.
2. The original voice actors were originally going to voice the herd, but they were replaced by new voice actors .
3. Also Chris Wedge as Scrat was originally planned to be in the spin-off movie, but he dropped.

Results

1. The original version was permanently cancelled.
2. The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild was released in January 28th, 2022 and received negative reviews.
3. instead of another Spinoff a main Sixth Ice Age film titled Ice Age: Boiling Point will release February 5, 2027.
