The Billion Brick Race was going to be a computer-animated film by Warner Animation Group and LEGO. It was going to be the third spin-off film in The Lego Movie franchise and was slated to be released on May 24, 2019.

Why It Was Cancelled[]
- Jorge R. Gutierrez, who replaced Drew Pearce as the director of film abandoned the project on February 11, 2018 to pursue other opportunities.
- Both The Lego Ninjago Movie and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part underperformed at the box-office, causing Warner Bros. to end their movie deal with LEGO in December 2019 after the box-office disappointments of both films, with Universal acquiring the rights in April 2020 and working on future Lego films.
- Three other films were released on May 24, 2019, which were Aladdin (the 2019 Disney remake), Booksmart, and Brightburn.
