In the 1990s, before Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, James Cameron was interested of making a third Terminator movie if Terminator 2 was sucessful. Though he had no intentions for further sequels. Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong were also planning to be in the third film too, but were dropped out.

Why It Was Cancelled[]

  1. James Cameron was too busy with his films, like True Lies & Titanic and its long develop film Avatar and he was unable to direct the third Terminator film.
  2. Linda Hamilton refues to reprise her role as Sarah Connor because she didn't like the scripted in her new directions.
  3. The film company Carolco Pictures went bankrupt.

  1. The third film was replaced by director Jonathan Mostow and stars Nick Stahl, Claire Danes, and Cristanna Loken, and the film was titled: Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Despite the film received positive reviews, it recieved mixed reviews from audiences and fans alike.
