Tebaatusasula, (also known as Those Who Were Screwed Over or Tabaatusasula: They Did Not Pay Us) was supposed to be Wakaliwood action film, directed by Isaac Geoffrey Nabwana. It was set to be a closely related follow-up to the film, Who Killed Captain Alex.

Development[]

Isaac Godfrey Geoffrey Nabwana was set to be a director after he erased his computer. With a studio called Ramon Film Productions being interested in distributing the film.

Plot[]

An elite team of Ugandan Commandos are forced into a life of crime to save their ailing families.

Why It Was Cancelled[]

  1. Due to the harsh working conditions of Wakaliga, power surges happened often. Even one power surge at the Kampalian place ended up destroying Nabwana's only HDD computer, in which the film's production was safely stored. There was later an incident regarding on the films' data files, after Nabwana lost the files, he was unable to backup the film's previous data.

Results[]

  • The film was permanently cancelled.
  • Who Killed Captain Alex remains as a standalone film.
  • Wakaliwood has since started working on a sequel/reboot of the film called Tebaatusasula: Ebola. However, no updates have been heard since but it was going to have all the trailer's original footage in it.

  • The film's development code is revealed to be 0712921775/0701921775 in he beginning of the trailer.
  • There is a error frequenty in the trailer as well; coming soon is incorrectly spelled "cooming soon" instead.
