Punisher: War Zone 2 was a planned sequel to Punisher: War Zone which has since been cancelled and the Punisher film rights were taken back by Marvel and the series will be again rebooted by Marvel as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Why It Was Cancelled[]
- The only known reason for the cancellation is because Punisher War Zone was a box office flop,
- The first film also received very bad negative reviews from critics, audiences and fans.
