A live action Pepe le pew movie was announced in 2010 and in 2016 it was announced that Max Landis was going to write and direct the film.

The film would have been a heist film with a love subplot with Pepe and Penelope.
Why was it cancelled?[]
- Pepe Le Pew was removed from the Looney Tunes cast for it seemed that the character was “normalizing sexual harassment” and the Director/writer Max Landis was accused of abuse and sexual misconduct.
