Note: Please do not add "Asher Bishop was replaced by Bentley Griffin to voice Lincoln Loud due to puberty" on here, because this was before he got replaced. Also do not add "Stephen Hillenburg died on November 26, 2018", because this was before his death.
In 2015, it was announced that a Nicktoons live-action/animated crossover film was in the works, with Jared Hess as the director, the script being written by Hess and his wife, Jarshua and was going be produced by Mary Parent and Cale Boyter, but in reality the film was not going to be made, despite its announcement.

The plot is currently unknown.
Cast[]
- Tom Kenny as Spongebob / Dog
- Chris Hardwick as Otis
- Asher Bishop as Lincoln Loud
- Francesca Marie Smith as Helga G. Pataki
- Jim Cummings as Cat
- TBA
Why It Was Cancelled[]
- According to Rocko's Modern Life creator, Joe Murray, Paramount Pictures rejected the film's pitch written by Hess.
- Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon refused to do anything with Ren and Stimpy again in March 2017, due to the failure and negative reception of the 2003 adult spin-off, Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon" and due to the accusations against the show creator John Kricfalusi on March 29, 2018 following the MeToo and Time's Up movement, shortly after the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal, which was wasn't until 2020.
- SpongeBob SquarePants late-creator, Stephen Hillenburg was strongly against crossovers.
- Doug (the first Nicktoon) was acquired by the Walt Disney Company in 1996 (only the final three seasons of the series and the film Doug's 1st Movie) and Nickelodeon does not have the rights to make any Doug related projects (despite still retaining the rights to the first four seasons of the series, despite Doug and Patti appearing in the Nicktoons TV launch promo in 2002 and the characters appearing on the music video "Our House" part of its promotion for the Super Bowl 50 in 2016, and despite the complete four seasons DVD collection released in 2014 being discontinued as of 2020, and the original Nickelodeon series being removed from Paramount+ in 2024).
Result[]
- The film was permanently cancelled.
- The Nicktoons crossovers still remain as a game franchise, with a couple of recent ones; Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and its sequel.
