In 2009, it was reported that Abrams and Bad Robot Productions would produce a film based on the Micronauts toy line. On October 23, 2015, Tom Wheeler submitted a Micronauts draft to Paramount and Bad Robot. This iteration of the project is unrelated to the Hasbro Cinematic Universe.
