Leningrad: The 900 Days is a planned epic war film that would've directed by Sergio Leone. The film would've also star Robert De Niro.


The plot would've involved an Soviet protangist becoming trapped in Leningrad as the German Luftwaffe begin to bombard the city, and falls in love with a Soviet wman throughout a 900 day period. It was set to begin shooting sometime in 1990, however, Sergio Leone passed away in 1989, just two days before he could have sign in.
