Kitty Pryde was a planned film in the X-Men film series. With Tim Miller attached as the director and Brian Michael Bendis as the writer.
Plot[]
The story was going to be based on a specific Kitty Pryde comic, in comic number 143. In the story where Kitty Pryde, is left alone in the X-Mansion during Christmas, as she is forced to deal with the transdimensional demon N'Garai, a creature that made its X-Men comics debut in that issue. The story of that comic is a direct homage to Alien (1979), since Kitty Pryde is based on Ripley and N'Garai in the Alien.

Why It Was Cancelled[]
- In March 2019, after Disney's purchase of 21st Century Fox, Fox executive Emma Watts described The New Mutants as the final film in the X-Men series, thus ending the development of the Kitty Pryde film.
- Ellen Page (the actress who played Kitty Pryde) received a gender change from female to male in December 2020 and has since then renamed himself Elliot Page.
