Plot[]

The adventure of a young man and a unicorn as he seeks to locate a powerful weapon and prove his worth to his true love.



Development[]

In June 2012, Deadline reported that Kelly Asbury was in the talks with Sony Pictures Animation to make an animated fantasy film titled Kazorn & The Unicorn. It would've followed the adventures of a young man and a unicorn as he seeks to locate a powerful weapon and prove his worth to his true love. Lloyd Taylor was writing the screenplay. Sam Raimi, Josh Donen and Russell Hollander were producing. Troy Quane was joined in to co-direct the film with Asbury later that year.[1] In November 2013, Sony Pictures Animation updated their website with Kazorn and the Unicorn, meaning it was still in development at that time. [2]



Why It Was Cancelled[]

  1. The cancellation reasons are unknown. But Sony already work for The Smurfs 2.


Result[]

  • The film was permanently cancelled.
  • The film was replaced with McKenzie and the Night from Sony Pictures Animation and Cartoon Saloon.
