Ice Age: Boiling Point is an American 3D computer-animated comedy adventure film produced by Blue Sky Studios and directed by Carlos Saldanha and written by Michael J. Wilson. It was going the sixth installment in the Ice Age film series and a sequel to 2016's Ice Age: Collision Course.
Why It Was Cancelled[]
- Spies in Disguise received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for the animation, music, humor, and vocal performances (particularly Smith and Holland). However, the film was a box office disappointment, grossing $171.6 million worldwide against a $100 million budget.
- Disney bought 20st Century Fox in March 20, 2019
- Blue Sky was shut down in April 2021.
- Collision Course became a commercial and critical bomb.

- The original version was permanently cancelled.
- Ice Age 6 is being made with Disney and 20th Century Animation instead. It is set for release for February 5, 2027 called Ice Age: Boiling Point.
