Ice Age:The Legends of Buck was a cancelled spin-off movie production by Blue Sky Studios featuring the time when Buck first arrived in the Lost World during the migration that took place in Ice Age.

The movie was supposed to feature the first time Buck entered the Lost World after he was separated from his family during the migration, it shows his transition into a crazy one-eyed weasel throughout the movie and references any aspects of his character from Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.
Production[]
This movie was started to be created after Ice Age: Collision Course in 2017 but was cancelled not far into production because of movie's negative receptions. As the studio decided to work on new movies instead of producing sequels for their popular franchises.
The movie was later redeveloped into the production of Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild by Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2022 after it's acquisition of Twentieth Century Fox.
The idea of these movie has occurred many times by Blue Sky Studios members in the past but was never made into an actual movie.
Why it Was Cancelled[]
- The original Legends of Buck movie was cancelled due to the poor reception of Ice Age: Collision Course.
