In 2014 Stealth Media Group announced a sequel to The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa titled Gummy Bear 3D: The Movie, starring John Travolta as the titular character with a release set for 2015, but the film was cancelled 1 year after the planned release for the movie.

Plot[]

[1] The plot was taken From IMDb

"In a far away universe, a top secret test version of a deep space video game is delivered to Gummibär that would later suck him into his computer, and subsequently, he finds a mysterious egg as seen in the game. Soon after, Gummy finds himself fighting with an evil red alien named Snark. When Gummy accidentally crashes to earth, he finds himself in Mimi Yaya's bedroom, who is introduced as Gummibär's biggest fan.
Pursued by Snark, Mimi offers Gummy to find his way home, but Mimi finds out he has the same game as theirs, so Mimi and Gummy play it and are transported back into the video game land itself. Now accompanied by Harry the chamaleon, Vampiro the vampire bat and Cupcake the cupcake. The team try to figure out what they could do with the egg that Gummy has previously acquired. Meanwhile, Drack Overlord orders Snark to retrieve the egg from Gummy while Captain Steele and his agents, Clint and Lee, want the egg for themselves. With the help of Mimi's father, Professor Gibson Yaya, the team find out that the egg is actually a super powerful energy source."

Why It Was Cancelled[]

  1. In October 2016, almost a year after the estimated release date, the High Court announced that the film never ended up being produced, resulting in a scam, this due to the two companies Spice Factory and Gummy Bear Films Ltd. taking £3 million from the British public, but failed to provide returns and barely spent only 11% of the fund on the film production, as most of the money was divided between the company director Michael Cowan and business partner Steven Wilkinson.
  2. The film was in development hell.
  3. John Travolta was probably an odd choice for the main character being a playful gummy bear.
