  • Green Lantern Corps is reworked as a tv series set for HBO Max. In 2019, which would be an anthology show focussing on various Green Lanterns from various points in time the show would later be reworked in 2022 the focus on the Green lantern John Stewart, before being reworked again to now be a part of the DCU Called Lanterns now focussing about John Stewart and Hal Jordan and will be released on Max some point in the near future
  • John Stewart was set to appear in Zack Snyder's Justice League but the scene was removed.

  • Director Christopher McQuarrie said that he had sent a written proposal for his own version of a Green Lantern film to Warner Bros. a year prior, before the release of Mission: Impossible – Fallout, which had ties to a Man of Steel sequel, but that he had moved onto other projects due to what he perceived as no progress on developing the film.
