Note: this is not confused with the 2004 film of the same name
In the mid 2000s, 20th Century Fox (currently 20th Century Studios) planned on making a film adaptation of Jim Davis's Garfield comic with Bill Murray voice providing the titular character.
Plot[]
The plot for the draft would've been the same as the 2004 film, but with some changes.
Why It Was Cancelled[]
- Mike Fentz didn't have time to direct the film.
Results[]
- In 2004, the final version of Garfield: The Movie was released with a new director: Peter Hewitt.
