The Five Nights at Freddy's fan film trilogy was a planned survival horror set of fan films based on the video game series of the same name. The three films were produced by Gabriel Combs Movies, DylangamerTV Films, and ScottGames, with YouTube Originals distributing. The films would've followed Michael Afton as he would survive traumatic events linked to Fazbear Entertainment and his father William.

Films[]

Five Nights at Freddy's[]

The first film in the trilogy, Five Nights at Freddy's, was set to follow the events of the fourth game, taking place in 1983. It would follow Evan Afton, the youngest child in the Afton family, as he would be haunted by mysterious "nightmare" animatronics throughout the week of his birthday. The film would've been directed by Niko Lovett and starred Dylan Bond, Lennon Richardson, Kellen Goff, Eric D. Ward, and Gabriel Combs, with Tim Simmons, David Near, Amber Lee Connors, Aleks Le, and Matthew Curtis featured in supporting roles.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2[]

The second film in the trilogy, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, was set to follow the events of the second game and Sister Location, taking place in 1987. It would follow Michael, the older brother of Evan, as he is haunted by the Bite of '83 and takes a job at Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. Meanwhile, a security guard named Jeremy Fitzgerald would take a job at the new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza for a week. Niko Lovett would return to direct, with Lennon Richardson, Gabriel Combs, Amber Lee Connors, Kellen Goff, and Matthew Curtis reprising their roles from the previous film, and featuring Kamden Lovett, Heather Masters, Darren Roebuck, Michella Moss, Stephanie Belinda Quinn, Joe Gaudet, Jena Rundas, Hans Yuda, Darbi Logan, Christopher McCollough featured in new roles.

Five Nights at Freddy's 3[]

The third and final film in the trilogy, Five Nights at Freddy's 3, was set to follow the events of the first and third game, taking place in 2023 (the third game) and featuring flashbacks to (while also opening the film in) 1993 (first game). It would follow an adult Michael as he takes a job at a horror attraction called Fazbear's Fright, where he is hunted by a mysterious hybrid animatronic called Springtrap. Lennon Richardson, Kellen Goff, Christopher McCollough, and Gabriel Combs would reprise their roles from the previous films, with Joe Gaudet and Keyondea Shanae featured in new roles.

Possible follow-ups[]

While the films were set to be a trilogy, Combs stated multiple times that if the films were considered successful, he would be considering producing follow-up films, stating the possibility of a sequel trilogy. He stated that if this were to happen, it would follow new characters and possibly follow the events of Help Wanted or Security Breach, as he felt those games felt the least connected to the games that the first three films are based on. He also stated the possibility of developing a Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator film, but stated that the film would not be likely, as he felt the third film felt like a "natural" conclusion to the series and that Pizzeria Simulator would feel too much like a retread of the films.

A prequel television series following the restaurant Fredbear's Family Diner was also considered but ultimately cancelled before being planned.
