Back in the year of 2016, a film adaptation of Klonoa was in development and would have a story set in the same world as the games were set in.
On January 19th, 2017, It was announced from that Ash Paulsen on his own YouTube channel called GameXplain said on Twitter that he was brought to the board as a associate producer.
On January 5th, 2019, the project was cancelled due to the lack of progress and laziness of creators. [1]
