Following the cancellation of Batman Unchained and Batman: DarKnight, Warner executives Lee Shapiro and Stephen Wise planned a new film for the series titled Batman: Glorious Final. It was presumably going to have Michael Keaton come back as Batman after George Clooney stepped out of all future Batman films. The project started in 2000, but was suspended in 2002.
