Antonius is a cancelled Disney film that would of been directed by Martin Meunier and was going to be a hand drawn film that would of taken place in Ancient Egypt. It was originally scheduled to release in 2002.
Plot
A leopard from Ancient Egypt wants to become a freedom fighter. And wants to stop a ruthless emperor from taking over the empire.
Why It Was Cancelled
- The VP of Creative Affairs, Leo Chu, thought the idea wouldn't work.
- It was probably scrapped after they realized Disney already had a similar leopard character in their 1999 film, Tarzan.
